Eid ul Fitr or Eid is the greatest festival for Muslims. Just as Diwali is celebrated with great festival  in Hindus, similarly Muslims celebrate Eid ul Fitr. This festival is celebrated to mark the end of Ramjaan. Eid is an Arabic word that means celebration. Fitr means breaking the fast. This festival is celebrated during the month of Ramjaan  in memory of Pangbar Mohammad. This festival is celebrated by Muslims all over the world.

Muslims fast during the month of Ramjaan. Eid is celebrated as a feat at the end of the month of Ramjaan. Eid ul Fitr is an opportunity for Muslims to express their gratitude to God and remember it. Every Muslim also wants to take advantage of this opportunity.

People from all over the world make a lot of preparations for this festival. To celebrate this festival, Muslims make many purchases. To celebrate this festival, Muslims buy clothes, shoes, dolls, and a lot of items from shops for themselves. When the moon is seen after a fast of thirty days, the next day is declared Eid ul Fitr. These days all the Muslim people are very happy. On this day people get up early in the morning. Take bath and wear new clothes and apply perfume. On this day all the Muslim people give each other a happy Eid.

On the day of Eid, prayers are performed at open grounds such as fields, community centers or mosques. After the namaz, the Muslim people take gifts to the house of their relatives or neighbors. On this day, Muslims make a variety of dishes and saivaiya and eat and enjoy the festival of Eid ul Fitr.
